Cancelation Policy

In an effort to provide clear instructions about our program, please review this information and keep it handy for your reference. All scheduling requests must go through our front counter staff. Teachers do not relay messages about scheduling or have the ability to make notes on student’s schedules. Email is always the best form of communication as there is a written account of all requests. It is highly recommended to email all scheduling requests.

Single Lessons

Single lessons are discouraged as success in learning depends on a weekly time with a teacher. However, we understand that demanding schedules may prevent availability for lessons at the same time each week.

  • Single lessons must be paid in full no later than 48 hours prior to the lesson to guarantee the studio/instructor.
  • We are unable to reserve a teacher and studio until the lesson fee is remitted.
  • There are no reschedules for single lessons and cancellations require a forfeit of the lesson fee.
  • Video lessons will be available if the student is unable to make it in to the store. A minimum of 2 hours notice will be required.
  • Flatts and Sharpe reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regular teacher is unable to teach.
  • Lessons can be paid online or in store.
  • We can not reserve a lesson time more than 1 week in advance

Single lesson tuition prices are based on the lesson length for individual students as follows:

  • $30 - 30 minute lesson
  • $45 - 60 minute lesson

Monthly Lessons

Flatts and Sharpe requires an active credit card at the time of registration. This card will be used to charge tuition on the 26th of each month. All credit card numbers are confidential and secure. Customers are responsible for keeping credit card information up to date.

  • We are unable to reserve a teacher and studio until the lesson fee is remitted.
  • Tuition is paid to reserve a guaranteed space and teacher for a specific time each week. Each month's tuition must be paid regardless of the attendance of the student.
  • If we are able to accomodate a make up during the week missed we will. If the teacher is unavailable to accommodate a make up within the week of the cancellation the lesson will be forfeited.
  • Video lessons will be available if the student is unable to make it in to the store. A minimum of 2 hours notice will be required.
  • Flatts and Sharpe reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regular teacher is unable to teach.
  • 2 weeks notice is needed to be removed from the autopay program. If Flatts is not informed 2 weeks prior to the 26th of the month, credits will be placed in the student’s profile and can be used as store credit for any of our services or merchandise. Refunds will not be granted.
