Our doors are always opening, flooding our store with newbies and veteran musicians on a daily basis. Stop by our store at any given moment. There will be an old-timer, a professional, a rookie, or a young, promising musician, testing out the sound quality on our fantastic selection of guitars.

If you’re looking into buying a new guitar, we are the store for you.  The staff at Flatts and Sharpe of Rogers Park knows how intimidating buying a new instrument may be. Our intention is to walk you through the process of buying a guitar. They’ll show you the difference in sound and quality amongst the instruments in our inventory. Our selection of guitars are geared toward beginners, intermediates, as well as proffessional musicians. There's a guitar here for everyone.

Professionals and music gear aficionados are always studying and looking into the lastest equipment at our store. We have amps, guitar stands, microphones, guitar picks, and PA equipment.

We also offer unique percussion instruments, as well as brass, woodwinds, and stringed instruments.

Because we, ourselves, are a local business, we try to support all local art. So in addition to our standard, name brand guitar straps, we sell distinctive, locally produced, hand-crafted guitar straps. Owner Chris Bell met with Jen Tabor, creator of Souldier brand guitar straps, and hand picked a wonderful selection. These guitar straps are one-of-a-kind and tailored for a unique style. Jeff Tweedy from Wilco even rocks a Souldier strap.
